Cash Mönneh is a provocative and daring art exhibition by ODEE, unveiled during Ljósanótt in Reykjanesbæ in 2016. The series features twelve artworks that creatively manipulate the design of the Icelandic 5,000 króna banknote, challenging both copyright norms and the Central Bank’s regulations on currency imagery. Despite its controversial nature, the exhibition garnered significant attention, with even Central Bank employees expressing interest in acquiring the pieces.
